RoAnn Costin - Dedicated Service to Corporate and Philanthropic Boards
RoAnn Costin is the founder of Wilderness Point Investments in 2005 and serves as the president and managing director of Cambridge, Massachusetts-based private equity firm. Her particular areas of interest include early-stage companies and those in the expansion phase, emphasizing retail and the manufacture of non-durable goods. A dedicated philanthropist who serves on numerous corporate and nonprofit boards of directors, RoAnn Costin is also a co-founder of the Wilderness Point Foundation, which provides grants focused on education, social services, and culture.
RoAnn Costin’s early professional positions include working as a portfolio manager with Boston-based State Street Research and Management, Inc. She also served as a senior vice president and investment manager with the Putnam Companies’ Boston offices. A current board member of the corporate boards of Sarah Flint International and 2020 On-site Optometry, she held board positions with apparel makers Lululemon Athletica and Sara Campbell. Her nonprofit board positions include membership on the board of overseers of the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, the Stanford University Board of Trustees, and the Stanford Graduate School of Education’s advisory council.
RoAnn Costin earned her undergraduate degree from Harvard University, where she studied government and competed as an All-American swimmer and rower. She went on to receive her MBA from Stanford University.
